What a wonderful Christmas.
Our little family, having grown from 3 to 4, had a most magical holiday season in 2011. The whole family was excited to see Luka experience his first Christmas, and that includes Alena! She was so tickled when they woke up Christmas Eve morning to watch him open his stocking and gifts that she didn't even want to touch her packages until she had seen him pick every last little piece of wrapping paper of each gift. In all, we traveled to 8 homes for seasonal celebrations. It was a true eye opener when the often taken-for-granted banana (accompanied by an apple and an orange and stuffed in the stockings at Granny P and Grandpa V's ever since I can remember) was received by Luka with such zeal, one might have thought it was a puppy.
Here's hoping your family had as beautiful of a Christmas as was had in The Gilmore household and to a fulfilling 2012!!
Before the church Christmas program. Alena performed the role of a suddenly-solo angel with more confidence than we have ever seen out of her in a public forum.
The kids with their "big" gift. I think this was actually a childhood dream of my own that I am apparently now experiencing vicariously through them.
This is the best remotely-operated family snapshot you get with a toddler.
